https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...-house-response-to-charlottesville/564199001/ He did condemn it.
Delayed response after having his hand twisted that still wasn't deemed sufficient. And his racist tweets as of late counter the condemnation. Not gud enuff.
So you say the antifa only matters to the right wing then list how the anti-defamation league and other civil rights orgs call them dangerous and problematic. Cool story bro.
I am saying the only people Antifa seem to reach with their actions are Fox News viewers and Breitbart and Blaze readers because it seems like right wingers use them to justify their hatred of liberals and to whataboutism in contrast to the various right wing groups like proud boys and the other alt right/racist/proto-fascist groups out there. But to everyone else, myself included, they are not on the radar.
Because empirically, statisically, given the data they are far less dangerous and prevelant than right wing terrorism in the US.
No you want the same amount of coverage for a significantly less problem inorder to create a narrative that "both sides" have equal problems with violent extremism.
That's fine, but if one group does it far less frequently with much less severity, doesn't it make sense for the outrage to be greater for the groups that do it more frequently, with greater severity? I've said before anytime that Antifa breaks the law, they should be held accountable. But I don't have to pretend like it is as serious of a threat as the right-wing groups.
I guess. I am outraged at it all. I dont see the point in anyone talking crap because a story is posted.
She doesn't have to engage him. His aim is not to do anything but get a sound bite to use against her. No matter what her answer is, he's going to ask a leading followup and another and another then followed by an accusation. That's the typical way these guys work. They are catering to their youtube audiences. They are not journalists.
They are a tiny group of bad actors who show up at protests and cause trouble for white nationalists. They are not liberals and they are not supported by the left. They are a fringe group of angry people with too much time on their hands and yes they are very radical. The right has a need to try to paint liberals as supporters of Antifa. They need to do this as a means to justify and spread their hate of liberalism. That is why it matters so much to the right. They need bogey men to make themselves have an enemy they can use to justify their hate and views.

The left may not support them but yall go out of your way to defend their existence. Quit being so hateful.
This is exactly what I’ve been warning for the past however many pages. It’s just way too obvious of a propagated faux enemy to use as a ploy to grab more police power. Americans should be outraged by a 2 year attempt to propagate a lie to seize dictator like power. Can you imagine the outrage if Obama did this with the Tea Party in 2010? There would be riots in the streets. Here’s a pic from a Tea Party rally in 2009. Imagine how this could have to propagated to turn the Tea Party into a violent hate group that Obama could designate as a terrorist organization.
