    I have a question, why isn't JLIII included in the choices? why is everybody pretending that he is freakin Jason Kidd and he's locked in the roster ? I mean, his contract aint that big of a deal, we can just let him go and have Jacobsen instead.. it is very clear that the guy is NOT ready to be a reliable backup PG in the league... he can become one though, just give him some time to practice and grow, but not wasting a spot in the roster..
    I say we cut Hairy-A$$, JLIII, Spooky, and FLyin rYan...

    and please, stop all the Sura-hate...give the guy some time.. if he comes along, good for us, we get a great tuff player who can add more depth to the roster, if he doesn't, Hairy-A$$ and JLIII (and maybe Spooky as well) are not going anywhere.. we can pick em anytime we want..

    First of all, there is a reason that something like 10 different teams all were hot on the heels of Lucas this summer. He is in a good position here, backup, maybe 3rd string, but in a position to stay on the roster all year this time and learn and grow. You don't do as well as he has done in the past without having the skills necessary. Now it's just time to put his nose to the grindstone and soak up the coaching.

    As for Jacobsen, the guy has shown only one thing so far this preseason: he can't shoot. He's hit, what, one three, and missed everything else he has thrown up? Why would you want him on the team?? Um, let's see... 2 yr, guaranteed contract versus partial one year contract.. neither player has shown much, but one at least plays at a position where the team may actually NEED him.. who do you cut?

    CJ is gonzo.

    As for Sura, who's hating on him? Everyone would love it if he could come back and give one more good year for us. But it is being widely recognized that he simply cannot come back from his various injuries, and that, as much as we might like the guy, it serves no purpose whatsoever to have him on the roster. This is not 'Sura-hate'. This is simply an acknowledgement that the cuts this year are going to be hard enough as it is without taking away another roster spot just to keep a non-contributing player on it for the arcane purpose of possibly getting some kind of injury settlement at some point during the season.

    It's time for a handshake, a pat on the back, and maybe some nice halftime recognition and whatnot for Bobby, and then we let him retire to the Bahamas or wherever he wants to go.

    Hey, I loved Sura as much as anybody but if he did come back totally healthy, I question a little bit whether he would even have a role on this team. Very mediocre 3 point shooter with a slow stroke, decent ball handler but not quick or fast and not a good defender. Very average passer and frankly a poor post passer. Tell me, where would he get minutes on this team?

    Are you kidding? He'd at least be a backup point but would probably start over Rafer if he was totally healthy.

    Hi all - first post here .

    I'm very excited about deep talent we have this year. It's gonna be tough choice jvg.

    CUT list:
    Rybo - got to go : why is this guy in the nba ?

    HairyAzz - tough to let go as he did show a little bit here and there, but not enough to impress.

    Jacobsen - He must go as he is only an average shooter and not strong in other areas. His role is redundant because we already the Novakaine and Padget is a keeper since he can shoot the 3's and attack the offensive board.

    Azuibuke - Tough to let go since he's a poor man's Snyder , and does show some potential. If Sura don't comeback , then I would keep Azuibuke as a project.

    ================
    JL3 - he has not impressed me much - If it were not for Novak , he wouldn't have many assists. Oh well at least he's smart enough to know where the $money and pass to him :)
