You maybe right. . but I question there record against Good teams I suspect they will win alot against the weak teams I think they will be exposed against the stronger teams Rocket River they play in the East
I agree...when KG had Casell on his team they made to the Western Conference finals. Nobody else was on that team and now he has 2 other superstars with him. Look out.
Ok ok...we got Spree. But isn't Pierce and Allen better then Sam and Spree. And they made to the conference finals in the West. This trio is in the East.
difference is in their games. with kg/sam/spree they had a rebounder/low block presence, a slasher/shooter, and a leader/facilitator. their games were really good complements to each other. very little overlap in skillsets. with KG/pierce/allen you have a rebounder/low block presence, a volume scorer, and a shooter. who is the leader? who is the facilitator? who is the slasher? i see lots of redundancy . . . kinda like us with francis and james, except combined our two redundant players make like $6M. combined their two redundant players make $30M.
I am guessing that pierce is going to play very similar to how t-mac played for us last year as the point forward
i'm not all that familiar with the details of pierce's game. can he do that? i dont know if he has the court vision/handles/passing ability that tmac does. McGrady - 44% FG, 34% 3pt, 75% FT, 6.3RPG, 4.6 APG, 22.4 PPG Pierce - 44% FG, 36% 3pt, 80% FT, 6.5RPG, 3.9 APG, 23.6 PPG man, i never realized they put up such identical career stats.
yea that is why if T-Mac was to be traded Paul Peirce was the guy I would have picked I think alot of people underestimate Paul Peirce cause the Celts have sucked so long on his watch Francis's and allen's number are not significantly that different either Rocket River
Tmac and Yao are seldom healthy. I am not convinced that they can do anything this year because of that. From an outsider persepective, correct me if I am wrong. but the rockets have no depth. Add that to the fact that Yao has leg and stamina problems and tmac has back problems. In addition, Yao is a defensive liability because he can't guard the quicker PFs in the west. Also, the rockets have no proven point guard. Francis maybe will get his career back on track, but come on he is VERY unproven. So I though top 10 was generous.
I really feel that the rockets should trade tmac, if they can do that and add a little depth, that would be ideal for this team. How many of you rockets fans would have done Wally Szczerbiak, Delonte West, and Jeff Green for tmac??? I think I would have done that in a heartbeat.
Also, the grizz have had one of the best off seasons of any team. Arguably they have had the best. They kept pau gasol. They got the best coach available: marc iavaroni He is also one of the best big men coaches out there. They got Darko, probably the best big man FA out there and for 7 million, not 10. They got the best point gaurd in the draft, mike conely. and their second year guy lowery will be healthy this year. Rudy gay is in his second year and will be improved. But we will wait and see. But I would bet that the grizz make the playoffs this year.
