Rondo??? That's the problem you think? Rondo? What about Hoidberg starting and then Dnp cd the next game to THREE different pointguards without bothering to talk to them and explaining anything? What about Butler and Wade calling out teammates repeatedly to the media and shaming them? What about Grant subtweeting back to them? THe Bulls are a mess and it's hardly due to Rondo. I have thought about it and Hoidberg is my no.1 worst coach in the league. I dont' care for his system when he has lost the lockeroom and can't even communicate the basics.
I think its 65/35 Hoiberg / Rondo. I dont see how the Bulls vets can be so fragmented. Wade and Butler dont cower to Rondo, they should play just fine together. So that points to lack of coaching leadership. Rondo does contribute to it. Has there ever been a coach he HASNT clashed with? Thats locker room poison. (And if Rondo himself wasnt playing so bad, no need to shuffle in different PG's.) Except this time Rondo might actually be right about coach being lousy lol
Well considering they called out the work ethic of Taj Gibson and RoLo.. Only Wade Butler are not fragmented. I dont' care what happens. Wade and Butler had no right to throw the entire team..APART from them, under the bus. They didn't say we need to do better..they said "only me and Jimmy have been doing our job the other players 3-15 are there for the paychecks". They are a mess. The coach is to blame because he can't control them at all and being in control and communicating with the players is one of the coach's most basic responsibillities. Rondo is not to blame for this. At most he will get bought out. AND? Will the Bulls lockeroom be alright after that?

Could be. He's going somewhere. I loved watching Hoiberg's Iowa State teams play. The style fits the NBA and is very similar to the Warriors offense. But he hasn't had a good roster fit and his personality isn't strong enough to succeed as a head coach at this level. Back to college for him.
Yeah Jimmy Butler did go from endearing underdog into punchable-face guy. So as non-objective as that view is, wouldnt mind heaping blame on him at all, can go with that
So, Rondo was not benched. Hmmn But can he still get along with Wade and Butler after he got those two benched?
