Well this is not about me. Folks, let's forget about me and my height. This thread is about disadvantages of being tall.

But I will say this: I still consider myself tall because every place I go to I am taller than most other people.

    Let the discussion resume...

I guess I just barely hit y'all's threshold of tall at 6'3"+, and I certainly feel the disadvantages. It's not so bad that it really affects my daily life, but clothes that fit are hard to find. Car seats have to move all the way back so I can drive. Showering just sucks. I had to drop 4 figures on a king sized bed so I can keep my feet from hanging off. I hit my head on lots of stuff. The circulation to my hands and feet could probably be better too. That's about it.

try giving the incredibly attractive 5'10 chick a hug standing at 5'7, then get back at me with the "disadvantages"..

(just 2 more inches! please!) :(

although I might add that even though it totally sucks being so dang short, it has some advantages:
    1. it's much easier for me to put on muscle than it is for my 6'1 buddy (we're both hard-gainers, but gosh I have 1000x easier than he does)
    2. I thought this was a myth up until I read it somewhere: I actually feel like I have a much better control on my body and I find myself at an advantage in terms of dropping taller less coordinated guys.. the "physical explanation" for this is lower center of gravity

I'd still take having uncomfortable flights and being asked to get stuff from high places for people instead of standing at eye level with a chick's rack :(

I'm 6'5" and for the most part I love it. Everybody always insist I ride shotgun and nobody ****s with me, except for short guys with Napoleon complexes. Low showerheads are a pain in the ass though.

I'm 6'1" and I don't feel tall at all. I don't have the same kind of problems you have either. I always feel like I'm pretty average in terms of height.

I think 6'4" and above is tall.

Does anyone else see the irony of this tread being on a Rockets message board?

I'm almost 6'3'' but I have a larger frame than most people at my height. I stand shoulder to shoulder with most people around 6'5''. I love always riding shotgun and it really is true that no one ****s with you.

I could've just asked, but my pride stood in the way..

answer to every question on the physics test tomorrow- "it's not my fault it's Moes' "
