After the Rondo trade, Dirk wouldn't have it any other way. He wanted relevance more than money and Cuban delivered.

Now they have to deliver the goods on the court.

While TD is in a class by himself, you can lump Dirk and him in one category while Kobe swings and hits air in another. It's a choice.

    Good for him.

What a consummate professional, I hope he retires.

Unless serious injuries play a part (which it totally possible if not probable) then the mavs are seriously gonna be badass.

    Rondo
    Ellis
    Parsons
    Dirk
    Chandler

    God damn!

This is an unfair competitive advantage, just like Duncan's deal.

He's treating him like an asset? Wtf are you smoking?

Some of the hardcore Morey sympathizers need to wake up. If there is one relationship in sports that isn't owner-asset like, its Dirk and Cuban's. He may be annoying as ****, but the guy is one of the best owners in sports.

Dorrell Wright shows up about 3-4 times per season. Tonight is the first time he's scored more than 3 points.

He took a pay cut voluntarily, nothing really to do with Cuban.

He doesn't mind. But it looks funny.

Their actual franchise player is the least paid starter.

Wouldn't Parsons still be the 3rd option offensively? It's not like Rondo is going to take shots away from him.

Cuban is a better owner than Les. I would take Cuban in a heart beat. All I want my owner to do is spend and Cuban has always done that.

I would say Parsons is now their fifth best player - and that's scary. If they can stay healthy and find a rhythm, they are real dangerous...
