At least he's getting paid now. Deserving after taking a pay cut for Chandler.

Agree with you. Happy for Dirk after that failed sacrifice for the pretty one.

He's basically the new Duncan... still highly paid, but his effectiveness will go down each and every year he continues to play till he eventually bottoms out.

Good for him. One of the few guys who stuck with his team and won the trophy through hard work and sacrifice! How in the world are the Mavericks able to sign all these guys to big ass contracts though? They have now almost $60 million for 3 players.

    Portions did Dirk bad.

Dirk took a massive pay cut to accommodate that egomaniac and he just turned the other cheek after spending a lot of time in the treatment room.

Good for Dirk but that must sting.

Think Dirk and Cuban hate parsons more than rocket fans.

Well I guess Cuban isn't Les. Obviously Dirk means a lot more to the Mavs than Barkley to rockets, but Cuban is paying Dirk back for taking a paycut.

Happy for Dirk, he deserves it. I consider him the modern day Hakeem, a true once-in-a-lifetime talent hampered by poor GM decisions. He was also the last true superstar to win a ring without any all star help apart from Dream so kudos to that dude.

I just don't understand though basically Dallas have Wesley Matthews to a max contract, they just traded for Bogut's 11M salary, they signed Barnes to a max deal now they can still pay for Dirk's 20M contract? That's like 3 max contracts+bogut, how come we're already capped out with just Harden and Ryan Anderson+Gordon? Shouldn't we also have around 20M left to play with?

parsons did a good job sabotaging the mavs but dirk could be a solid 6 man on a good playoff team.

I don't think Dirk will drop off as drastically as Duncan did, though, stats-wise.
