Yes you are correct. However, we were discussing Harrissment using his standalone TIVo with the H-10. (The DTV HD receiver without TIVO.)

Add my experience. I just upgraded to the HD-DVR Time Warner box. To be fair, I had some problems...mainly the wiring coming into the house from the pole was having some issues so my reception strength wasn't strong enough. But they came out and fixed that. Now it works great. There are a fair number of HD channels, its all in one box, its convenient, there is no "wait" time for the HD channels to load, and I haven't found any of the lower channels to come in any worse. I'd recommend it.

I get 52 channels of HD using comcast. And I love it. I will watch the stupid moose in the water just because it looks cool.

Did TWC give you your HDMI cable or did you have to go out and buy one?

    AB-

Do you use the optical or digital audio out with your HDMI? If so, are you able to get the 8300 to output Dolby 5.1 audio to your receiver?

    I do and yes I get 5.1

Last night though, I couldn't get anything from any of the channels above 100.
