I just called yesterday to renew my 6 month discounts. I'll call next week if this isn't sorted out to demand the channel and get more discounts.

I just wanted to point out that it's spelled "DirecTV".

Personally, I like to pronounce it "Direct-V"

thats was the issue with directv/viacom... all those people switched providers, then they worked out a deal like a week later..

ive had timewarner/comcast/xfinity for like 10+ years and the directv experience blows it away..

I will say this again - why should I harass DTV? They give me good service, whole home HD DVR, and the Sunday Ticket. If Les doesn't want me to watch his Rockets, that is just fine. If the lockout didn't end my fandom - this likely will

After being a die hard fan for 30+ years (going back to the 1980 team), I am tried of this crap. I paid for playoff games on TV in the 90's - when I was in grad school and really couldn't afford it. My dad bought overpriced tickets to see the Rox Lakers in 1986 playoffs (game 3 baby). I went to all the Tmac/Yao playoff games. I voted for the arena funding

    I have done my part.

I am too old and too tired to stress about not getting to watch a bunch of spares embarrass themselves against the likes of...well...every team in the West. I will watch them if Les will allow me to if not, Halo 4 comes out Nov 6th, Black Ops II comes out Nov 13th, Football season lasts until Feb and then Arrested Development Season 4 comes out on Netflix.

I think I have enough options for my time

too much effort - I am too old to mess with that. I want to watch them on my couch on a 50 inch high defintion screen with the remote in my hand and a beer in the other
