Dude has his best game in a while and is upset. I wonder what happened? He must’ve gotten some bad news about a trade. Insinno
Another player who is making it clear he just doesn't want to be here? I can't wait to see the new invigorated John Wall respond to this disrespect on the court
Oh well. Maybe you shouldn't have put us in a position where no one but the Heat is interested in a trade, and now Pat Riley is trying to get you for cheaper than we got you. On a more human note, it's obvious that all employees in the world are significantly more fed up with their employer and the social contract than they were before the pandemic. We're seeing a lot of that in the NBA.
Dude is stupid, tbh. You're getting the playing time you crave while being the number one option (since Wood and Wall are both out) AND your time with this squad is up at the end of the season. So regardless of how bad this team is, you're not stuck with them. Oladipo has it so good right now.
We care if he wants to be here because? He was an expiring contract/ trade asset from the beginning. Stone just needs to move faster.
He sucks though? At least when Harden quit you couldn't deny that he was good enough to get away with it.
The league (and all pro sports, really) are doing a terrible job managing this behavior. These players are a bunch of entitled babies.
He wasn't really reporting, he was just referring to Oladipo's shot selection. Basically nothing new. Just looks careless out there. 3s early in the shot clock, contested midrange jumpers, layups that are highly contested and not even close. He played well in the 1st half though, but he's just been so frustrating to watch overall. Hopefully the Knicks, Heat, or some team will give up decent assets for him. KPJ is part of the future and I don't want Oladipo playmaking or taking shots away from him. The team was fun to watch against Utah without Oladipo. Sucks that Eric Gordon got hurt against the Kings because even he was more enjoyable to watch than Oladipo. Anyways... the team is tanking and I guess I shouldn't be too emotionally invested regarding Oladipo, but I want this team playing with effort and being competitive.
Nah, I disagree. It's excellent for the employees to aggressively challenge the employers. The players are peasants compared to the owners wealth, if anyone is being entitled it's the owners. The players are not doing me any harm or f*cking with my money, I like to watch the best players play basketball and a GM can avoid these things if he wants. If Dipo screws this up, I'll blame it on Stone for not clearing this situation before acquiring an expiring vet's bird rights. This was always a possibility and it's why he came so cheap. You get what you pay for Tilman.
