I had besketti for dinner and then a buttload of beers later in the studio.

    Chance

Hold on..I just thought about a 'buttload of beers' and got a nasty visual. I would like to change it to 'a bunch' of beers. I had a bunch of beers in the studio.

School lunch for me...with my wife and son.

Fried Chicken (Mostly backs to choose from)
    Potatoes
    Green Beans
    Fruit Salad
    Roll
    Sweat Tea

Can't see that topping yours - or anyone else's here. But I bet the company was better!

I dunno what to have for lunch today. I had kolaches for breakfast instead of oatmeal, so I think I'll try to go somewhat healthy.

Grilled Stuft Burrito from Taco Bell is healthy, right? :D

Ahhh I have a weakness for those Grilled Stufts. Chicken, rice, beans, cheese (dairy group - vitamin d) - I really don't see what's NOT healthy about it!

Hey, Grilled Stufts are quite the balanced meal. Not a bad choice at all...

especially in that combo which comes with the nachos. :D

    Spaghetti with whiting fish

Tonight I'm going to try frying whiting fish, but I've never tried to before. Any tips?

That's similar to those meal in a box things right?

We get some pizza pasta thing, it's actually pretty health as far as fat/calories goes, pretty high in salt though (I think).

Did you catch them yourself? I don't think they're very large, so your filets will be small. Instead of buttermilk (which would hold too much breading for such a lightweight filet), I'd thicken some milk with some dijon mustard. The vinegar in the mustard will thicken the milk in the same way that buttermilk is made, but it won't be quite as thick. Then season some yellow cornmeal with some Tony's or some other creole type seasoning. I always eyeball it, so it's hard for me to tell you how much to use. One thing you can do is lay your cornmeal out on some wax paper and lightly sprinkle the Tony's on top. Dip your filets into the milk, let the excess drip off for a second, then lay them on top of the seasoned cornmeal. Sprinkle some more seasoning on top of the filets and then flip the filets to make sure they are evenly coated with cornmeal. Then fry the fish at 350 degrees. It's better to be slightly over than below on temp, and make sure you give it time to get back up to temp between batches. Don't cook too many pieces at once. Peanut oil if ya got it.

Oh yeah....they'll float to the top when they're done. Small filets like that don't take much time to cook.

If they aren't small.....make them small. Fish always fries better in smaller pieces.

I still can't figure out why any fast food restaurant would serve diet drinks. I mean it's not going to help the 300, 400, 500, or more-calorie meal you just ate.

    Oh well.

    Lunch:

Sub from place called "Firehouse Subs". Steak with provolone, mayo, mustard, sauteed muchrooms, grilled onions, green peppers, an unusual bacon taste, and about 4 different hot sauces on italian bread with what I thought were specialty chips since there was also French writing (Miss Vickie's), but they are really made by Frito Lay.

    With a Mountain Dew.

    Pretty, uhhh, bad.

Buffalo burger, fries, green peas, and a salad topped off with huge quantities of iced tea and a slice of lemon (not meringue) pie.
