How bout the people who honestly believe that anything said here is going to convince the Rockets(or any other professional organization) to make or not make a move. They may listen to us on fan-interaction ideas...but some people here really seem to believe things said here are going to influence player moves....that is the height of stupidity.
You could be right. What's really freaky to me was when I typed that about the two teams being collectively worth over a billion dollars. It is true and a bit wild to someone who remembers when a billion dollars was real money! No kidding! Hey, it's hard not to get emotionally caught up with all this. Most of us (I hope!) are fans of the Rockets, regardless of who's on the team, and our team is fixing to be shaken up, for good or ill. It's almost enough to make you FREAK OUT, dude! :grin:
No. If there is a lot of fan outcry and analysts start talking about how the Rockets are getting the better of the deal, it might make the Knicks stiffen their position a bit. It's common sense. Especially on a deal like this where picks are the main value being exchanged and it's easy to change the value each side is giving up without messing up the financial aspect.

No, I'm saying this about the media attention a video is starting to get. If you think the media never affects trades then you're not very bright. Well this is now linked on the front page of the Yahoo NBA page, Knicks office will definitely see it, and it could subconsciously have an effect. No one likes being made to look like a sucker or fool, and no one likes public ridicule. But I doubt it will really matter.

If it sways Knick fans and NY media to criticize the deal, that could have an effect. It is always best to defer gloating until after a trade is made, just to be on the safe side.

unfortunately not. but the video is hosted at my personal account on xtranormal.com. i guess its kind of like having these sites copy a youtube vid in the sense that you can click on the video and it takes you to my page. then again i dont know much about internet stuff lol
