No matter how SUCKY the lakers were and they still made it deeper in the playoffs than we did.

KG didn't win????? well he won a lot more than all the ROX team combined in the playoffs with less talent than what TMAC and YAO had in the last 2 seasons.

How about VC, he is just as soft as TMac, then you have Rasheed, KG, Richard Jefferson etc. Overall, there are many players on the list, but why was Yi on the list, he has not played much in the NBA to earn anything. Also who is the captain? Anyhow, who cares.

Well a slow 7'6 soft player then who lays the ball up instead of dunking it come on Yao ur 7'6 you shouldn't be laying the ball up. Yeah is is slow but Shaq is slower than Yao!!! 7'2 who dunks the ball when he needs 2 basically all the time when he is right under the rim. I dont see him laying the ball up. Im not a Yao Ming hater but He does play soft for someone his height. :( :( Maybe its the system.

Wonder if its a coincidence that he has both Chinese players on it Yao and Yi and two Rockets, Mcgrady and Yao. Yao needs to man up asap and and forget that he doesn't have JVG around to stroke him about being the best center in the game.

I was talking about the post-Shaq Lakers teams that either didn't make the playoffs or were eliminated in the first round.

And I wasn't even calling these stars soft. I was refuting the stupid belief that a team's failure is the fault of its star player and not the scrubs who fail to play well. Did you even bother reading in your haste to come into this thread and hate on your own team?

This member doesn't belong on a Houston Rockets message board. He should be banned. I'm serious.

Why? Being a fan doesn't mean you should only see a bright side. That is sad but Yao is soft and slow. But he is 7'6. You don't expect great athletic moves from him.

Yao is not that soft that he should be in the Top 10 list! Give me a break.

Game in and game out, this guy plays a physical game that most other players don't outside of Shaq.

Yao is a warrior. He plays with injuries. How is that soft??

Yao's game is a physical low post game. How is that soft??

It's Adelman who has made Yao's game soft but that's not his fault.

Yao should not belong on any top 10 soft list. No way.

I like Yao, he is a great center in this leauge. But there is a lot between him and for example Dwight.

Wait a minute? Is that Adelman's fault that Yao is getting rejected at the rim by Martin?

You like Yao yet you agree he should be the #1 Softest player in the league???

Look, ANY all-star should not be on such a list. You should never put in a 7'6 center who battles every game. A couple of games ago, he took a bloody cut to his eye. And he came back to play. is that SOFT??

Give me a break. There are a lot of insane thoughts being passed around as objective. These are not objective opinions, or fair ones. They are insane.

And Yao and Dwight Howard? Give me a break. Yao outplays Dwight every time. Dunking the ball doesn't mean a thing. OK?? The distance between Yao's game and Dwight's is far. Yao's skills are much better than Dwight's. Even Dwight admitted so.

    7 foot tall PF.

    How they score

    KG - 26% inside 7%Dunk
    Sheed - 13% inside 4% Dunks

Yao 62% inside 8% Dunk

Yao double team all the time, KG and Sheed rarely.

T-Mac 22% inside and he is an injured SG.

Yao-Sheed_KG biggest player on their team.

    YAO 9.2 RPG 1.6BPG
    KG 8.5 RPG 1.4BPG
    Sheed 8.4RPG 1.6BPG

SHEED+KG = Paint allergic = Soft tissue have never back anybody down. One complain like a girl, the other have been punch and have backpedal like Michael Jackson moonwalk.

Difference they are black and use fake hustle and fake toughness, and hide behind the black player reputation.

Ben Wallace, Artest, those are bad ass Mofo. KG and Sheen pls.

I love this post. It's so true how Yao cannot grab a rebound against another opponent player unless the ball bounces right to him. He's too slow to grab rebounds that a smaller more athletic big can get through sheer force of will. And don't get me started on how many rebounds Yao loses because he holds the ball too low and gets stripped. Use your elbows, Yao, and hold the ball at chest level once you get the rebound.

T-Mac shouldn't be on this list. If he's there due to injury, he should be replaced by Gilbert Arenas, who has barely played in the past 2 seasons.

When you watch the game on tv, you can't see the wrestling match in the paint. But if you ever have a chance to sit a few rows from the court, near the basket, there's a lot of grabbing, pushing, and shoving goin on. Yao is mugged almost every time he's in the paint.

Did you make this up yourself?? Because i find it strange that KG has a Dunk% of 7 and Yao is 8 considering KG dunks way more than Yao does. All Yao does is lay the ball up. I only seen Yao dunk when he is angry.
