That is true and I think Memphis needs sort of a change as well, basically their GM is put to the test.

They will get through it and there are better days, they just need to get thru hell first.

I do not think Bane and JJJ are bona fide 2nd options as well.

They are fine but I do not have them as sure fire stars.

Maxey right now is better than Bane.

My guess is that Dillon fouls out 2 out of the next 3 games. Unless Curry sits the NBA has already penciled in the Lakers and GSW for victories over the Rockets. I think if we are in all 3 games that will say a lot about how Ime has changed our culture. The fact that Vegas has the Clippers as 5.5 point favorites is very telling.

    First 5 games
    35.2 mpg
    60/60/93 shooting

    Last 5 games
    26.6 mpg
    42/33/67 shooting

First 5 games he was shooting like Steph. Last 5 games he’s closer to his career shooting percentages. Blowouts and foul trouble have cost him a lot of minutes in the last 5 as well.

He was a hot head and he is not magically turning into a cool head over night and for long.

Well, I know his numbers are down, I thought maybe I missed an article or quote that explained why.

The right way to view it is that in the first first 5 games his shooting numbers were abnormally up. The last 5 they have normalized more to his career percentages. Hot streaks and cold streaks happen.

    I was a non believer
but now . . . I honestly think he is probably the most important player
Not the best but important. I think he bring ATTITUDE

The biggest thing the Rockets good teams need is ATTITUDE . .some CRAZY

While Artest was perhaps not as good as TMac . ..but he was more important.
Vernon was probably the second most important person in our 1st championship
These are the never say die guys .. .they not going to back down guys . . . the "ion know i ain't gonna push him too far" guys

We need some CRAZY to push to the next level
I think Dillon provides that . . .and I ain't mad at it.

I like his archetype. He has fast feet, active hands and a natural defender so he can guard multiple positions. He can shoot from 3pt line or attack to the rim and finish instead if he wants. His middy is solid. There is probably nothing he can't do on the court.

It did not look like a major market was going to scoop him up and yeah he is probably right for the middling markets.....

Not sure what that means, you don't think every major market would die to have him right now? They don't have the coach that their confident would be able to help him succeed. We did. Lakers would kill for him right now. Bucks, I mean probably only Boston wouldn't have a need for him of the major teams. He's been perfect so far.

Funny enough if the Lakers had gotten Dillon instead of paying Reaves they'd probably be way better.
