My friend out in Florida is that guy, he's past 40 and he's still that guy on the courts haha. I'm pumped for Brooks, having seen him in FIBA I think people were being overly harsh, I think he's a great addition to the roster and I'm hoping to see some lineups with him and Tari together frustrating the opposing playmakers.
People say that he thinks too highly of himself but that's what it takes for some guys to play at a high level. I'm rooting for him, I like players that give effort on the defensive end and he seems like a good teammate.
Yeah it's like all competitive activities, you need some ego to be assertive in that position. I'd rather somebody who barked at Lebron and got owned than wilted in front of Lebron and got owned worse.
Dude has played 370 games in the NBA. It's funny to me how Rockets fans are relying primarily on 15 FIBA games as his sample size. But I definitely hope that was a step in a new direction.
The only other times he played for someone other than Taylor Jenkins, he averaged 9 and 7 shots. You don’t think the way he played maybe had something to do with the way he was coached?
He could at least be there to divert the attention of the media away from what happened in September. Create some headlines of his own.
