That's definitely true. The only probably with Deke is he can't play TOO many minutes. Having Yao's backup as Deke is an amazing blessing to the Rox. And yes, Deke increases fastbreak points with his INSANE rebounding skills and also creates havoc offensively by getting offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points.

Lets not get carried away. Deke is no comparison to Dream.

Deke is the man, though. Mad props.

After getting frustrated seeing Mavericks just walk in and make a layup, seeing Deke block four shots is very refreshing.

I think JVG realized this as well leaving DEKE in there after we had a lead to keep the defensive intestity alive...the other 2 home games where we had leads we gave up way to many easy looks...

This time it was a diffrerent story and i think we might be on to something.

He deserves what he is getting...some MAJOR playing time at crucial parts of the game....we Need Yao to start to be that Offensive threat so they don't attack only Tracy....that way when we have a lead we can bring DEKE in for defense....if we started him we would start off super slow on offense...having Deke and Padgett in there would hinder our offense big time cause they can just collapse on us...
