They don’t have the right to attack the police officers and threaten the public officials that were 10 feet away in the senate chamber.

They've shot at a cop but it was targeted since he was involved in multiple shootings. He was black by the way. https://www.newsweek.com/shooting-police-officer-protest-wisconsin-black-lives-matter-1523915
No one supported the rioting that happened during the BLM protests. It’s so stupid that people are trying to use this to excuse their support of the worst president in US history.
Agreed. Trump supporting Republicans in Congress is what I should have said. The fact of the matter is that not even all Trump supporters support the crap and certainly not all Republicans.
Imo the police being overwhelmed Wednesday caused them not be aggressive because it would have only escalated things to be worse People complaining about law enforcement's reaction are not talking into account there simply wasn't enough manpower to be more forceful. Imagine if they actually started shooting. The building would have burned down
It wasn't as much their reaction during the situation but before it. Why weren't there more of them. Why didn't they secure the preimeter? Some of the actions by a few of the cops during the situation was absolutely regrettable. But laregley they reacted bravely in the face of superior numbers. The real issue is why were they let down by those in the command center?
You’re absolutely right that it can’t be used to excuse or defend what happened at the Capitol building. But there were in fact people defending the violence as necessary to force real change. https://slate.com/podcasts/what-next/2020/06/protests-blm-movement-american-history
I don't know, and whatever the motivation was, it doesn't change the fact that the made the wrong decision and his wrong decision cost lives, and damage.
Yes and when they breached Trump stood there and let it happen. The national Guard were on hold for almost 2 hrs. Explain that?
Agreed I don't why you seem to be arguing. My whole point is the lack of preparation was the biggest problem with law enforcement and it's on the chief end and that's why he resigned It's sad people are using this as an opportunity to criticize the foot soldiers. I really don't care if Trump gets more criticism
You forced me to watch the video and the guy being interviewed says he doesn't know what happened in terms of National Guard not getting authorization Did you watch the video? REALLY?
