If he wasn't so lazy, I think he could have been quite a player. Yeah in the playoffs he would hit clutch shots, but there was more that he could have done. He had the potential to slash to the basket and play exceptional D consistently. He was your prottypical small foward it seemed (ala. Quitten).
Yeah he needed to work on his left hand and dribbling. But he had the potential to become a solid all-around player. The role that he loves is the one he has with the Lakers; just like with us during our glory days. A role that dosen't demand much, stay outisde, and shoot. A role that with no pressure. A role with him not being a high scoring option. He definitely had some talent but was missing those intanglibles to be a good player. Some of these roles seem alot like that what that prototypical SF Quitten couldn't handle. Quitten is another player who I wish would have panned out. That though is one I'm not going to get into.

Drew had some REALLY GOOD games for us once Francis got here (filling in on injuries), but he just never could become consistent.

Serge Zwikker would've been a nice player to have work out as well, but he was a 2nd rounder who never played in a game, so i suppose he must've not really been that good . . .

I also wish Carlos Rogers had been able to stay healthy and be consistent. He had some kickass games for us, and had a long, athletic body similar to Griffin's.
