No. He wasn't rejected for that. He was rejected for going to confront Kobe about what he did. Refs may be stupid, but no way they misunderstood Ron. Ron got his point cross that Kobe elbowed him in the throat.
No way Artest did the throat slash move. BUT, Joey Crawford thought he did and that is what warranted him getting the chunk. If you watch closely, you see Crawford see Artest do it in the corner of his eye THEN he throws him out.
Crawford made the wrong call and we ended up losing the game. I hope it doesn't cost us the series. And your friends are stupid for thinking that they are WRONG.
For the love of basketball, please lock this thread. It's been covered MULTIPLE of times in SEVERAL other threads. And it's such old news. The NBA made its ruling. Time to prepare for Game 3. Focus on what John Hollinger said about the Rockets presenting a real problem for the Lakers. Anything but this.
I'm so sick of people starting stupid threads like this. First off you said your friends said this so you didn't watch the game. Then you " I think he should have been ejected, " but you didn't even watch the game ? WTF
To imply one player threatening another player by gesturing a colombian necktie is insane! And btw your friend is a moron.
Not only did your friends misunderstand it. But so did the refs I think thats why he got kicked out. Either that or they thought he was going to fight or hurt Kobe and were trying to defuse before it happened. Either way he shouldn't have been ejected if Kobe wasn't especially once they saw play and clearly saw they blew it! These Refs need to be Held accountable they can't make huge mistakes like that and it be alright. those calls need to be reviewed during the and overturned if wrong by an outside official.
