I was almost in three accidents last night. I'm wondering if Halloween is starting to challenge New Year's Eve for "night of the intoxicated drivers". Also - if you were at home... were you one of those people sitting on their driveway drinking beer as you handed out candy?
Nope - I did my drinking this past Saturday night after I got put out of our annual Texas Hold 'Em tournament.
Didn't go out and didn't drink. I probably would have hit the bottle if the Rockets had been playing though.
But you dressed up.. how can it be nothing. Or are you scared of halloween because of the cut off hand that floats by the window?
No. I wish I was in costume having fun. I had to work early hours all week this year. I wouldn't drive drunk though.
LMAO. Let me rephrase...if the actual Halloween falls on a weekday, I don't go out. If it's on a weekend night, then I will go out. I think I'm making sense.
I got totally rear-ended by a drunk driver. 1-year old car's been in the shop for a month now. total damages, a cool 7 grand. please don't drink and drive.
It's interesting that in 15 minutes this thread has 48 views but only 8 votes. I'm wondering if there are people who don't want to admit to it.
i drank and rode my bike. if you saw robert smith from the cure, face paint and all, pedaling down red river last nite that was me. i love living close to downtown - riding my bike has probably saved me a few dwi's over the years.
I was at home, but I was sitting on the sofa drinking wine, waiting for the trick or treaters. After 3 glasses of wine, I was hoping for no more trick or treaters!
I went to eat with the g/f and we did drink wine but went home at 10:30 (after kids were out but before drunks at bars drove home)
I drank, and I drove. I know it's never a good idea, but I never drive if I still have a good buzz. Usually I'll quit and drink water for at least an hour before driving.
