    It's awesome that Yao Ming now gets to enjoy being a total schlub after living up to the People's Hero ideal for all those years.

    Yeah, there was the story about how Yao's mother the center of the woman's team was a very strict communist and might have been told to mate with Yao's father, the center of the men's team.. :)

    I'd like to think that Yao probably wears really thick-soled shoes to alleviate his foot problems and whatnot.

    "EUROPE’S tallest teenager Robert Bobroczky has attracted the attention of the NBA, according to reports out of his homeland.

    The Romanian sensation stands a towering 2.26m-tall, or 7ft 4in.

    And he has been growing at a rate of 10cm a year.

    At just 13 years old, he is already taller than the tallest player in the NBA right now, the 2.21m Tanzanian Hasheem Thabeet of Oklahoma City Thunder."
