I think you're wrong about a "majority" of Rockets fans... perhaps a majority of constantly-posting Clutchfans though. Most people only hate him so far as he hurts the team.
I heard it and here is the audio from it: <div> <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width="210" height="25" id="mp3playerlightsmallv3" align="middle"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerlightsmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/ifsb3v/BillWorrellknee.mp3&autoStart=no" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <embed src="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerlightsmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/ifsb3v/BillWorrellknee.mp3&autoStart=no" quality="high" width="210" height="25" name="mp3playerlightsmallv3" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></embed> </object> <br /><a style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal; padding-left: 41px; color: #2DA274; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: none;" href="http://www.podbean.com">Powered by Podbean.com</a> </div> Here is the link to the Stacy's Knee Song in case yall missed the hit record: <div> <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" width="210" height="25" id="mp3playerlightsmallv3" align="middle"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <param name="movie" value="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerlightsmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/jvaa9/TracysKneeremastered.mp3&autoStart=no" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <embed src="http://www.podbean.com/podcast-audio-video-blog-player/mp3playerlightsmallv3.swf?audioPath=http://thegame.podbean.com/mf/play/jvaa9/TracysKneeremastered.mp3&autoStart=no" quality="high" width="210" height="25" name="mp3playerlightsmallv3" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></embed> </object> <br /><a style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal; padding-left: 41px; color: #2DA274; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: none;" href="http://www.podbean.com">Powered by Podbean.com</a> </div>
DD, sometimes you are... well... an idiot. Stacey and Tracy are both multi-gender names. Quit trying to make a big deal out of a slip. The guy says 1000s of words a night, he is allowed to slip up.
WTF? HUH? Uh...I never made a big deal out of it.........I think Bill just mispoke......an accident.......probably because they have joked about it off mic......but definitly NOT on purpose. The big deal I made was someone saying that Stacy was a plural name.....yes it is...but not by that much. Please try to understand context before calling someone an idiot.....I mean.....SHEESH !!!!! DD
Dude, he wasn't stretching just stating the obvious. Don't take it personal, no need for name calling.
Who cares if Stacey is a predominantly female name. So is his real name, Tracy, and he calls him that night in and night out. My point is, you made a big deal out of Stacey being a predominantly female name and my point is that you were acting like one of those 8th graders trying make a big deal out of what someone called so-and-so. You were trying to make a bigger deal out of something that is not a big deal at all. The man paused after he said it, then corrected himself 10 seconds later. A grown man that acts like this is acting like an idiot. That's why I said sometimes, because sometimes you also really surprise me with your wit, your analyzation skills and your undying love of the Rockets, but this, my friend, was one idiotic statement out of the few you make.
I guess it's who you know. But, for someone like me who dosen't know ANY men named Tracy/Stacy would've thought it was funny too.
Ok, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, even if I didn't make a big deal out of a slip up by Bill. I found it funny. DD
Some people like the unisex name so when that person gets older or in the job market, theyrre not typpecast before hand. I have a good friend named leslie. She was named after her dad. Its done a lot, not a big deal.
If you're black, chances are you know a lot more guys named Tracy/Stacey than if you're white. I don't know of any white men with that name.
LOL at people posting an example of a guy named Stacy or a couple of Stacy's....great. It was still funny and it is still a predominatly female name, made all the more funny because people were using it before as a derogatory term when speaking about Tmac. That is why I found it funny......sense of humor people......sense of humor. DD
