Training is different from traveling though. I'm pretty sure Royce can drive out there, if he's going to sit out.
Question. Why do our players always wear cool accessories for practices etc. But, look plain when they play actual games? Do we not allow players to swag out? From T-Mac not using his famous leg sleeve after a bit, to Kevin Martin never wearing his double leg sleeves from Sac days. Everyone is just plain. Does Les want everyone to be "uniform" or huwhat?
Sigh your being stubborn. The NBA is very strict about certain things is my point. I believe that players can't walk like 5 minute distances they have to go by bus. So I am pretty sure that he cannot drive down there even if he is sitting out he must go with the team unless the NBA granted him otherwise because of his anxiety.
Unless his beard weighed 30 pounds, he looks the same from that distance. Maybe Clutch can run down real quick with a tape measure and ask to measure his waist.
The sleaves have to be team color. I assume the red or the white just dont look that great with the current uniforms. The compression knee pad things, and the leg sleaves have been worn by quite a few Rockets players in the past couple years. Most NBA players wear them for looks, and for looks it probably doesn't look great with the current uniforms.
I honestly dont think they are supposed to be wearing black leg wear as well. I remember a game or two when Parsons wore a black leg sleave, but not sure if that was something he was supposed to do or not. Landry wore the black leg sleave, but it was for medical reasons(gun shot wound). I know that it must be team color according to NBA rules. The leggings probably are easier to get away with. I would assume that if Kevin Martin showed up with a purple headband the refs would make him take it off. Im sure they could care less about black compression shorts.
I just said that. However the NBA rules are that accessories have to be team colors unless its for medical purposes like a special knee brace, etc. Black is not a team color of the Rockets even though players HAVE worn black accessories on their lower body, they probably wouldn't get away with it on their upper body. Its all up to what the refs approve of at gametime, not the owner.
I don't know why people keep insisting he's a four. Now that he's alot skinnier / mobile he could easily play the 3.
