Did Trump just suggest that 2nd Amendment gun owners should assassinate Clinton?

People in the media have already admitted that they're trying to hurt Trump's campaign so taking thinks out of context and manufacturing controversy is one way to do that.

 

I think "that will be a horrible day" is referring to the day she "picks her judges".

As for his remark about 2nd amendment people, it seems to me like its just Trump being Trump. It was a stupid, tasteless joke that he put out there without much thought.

This isn't evidence that he's literally calling for people to attack Clinton. Its just (yet more) evidence that he's a loose cannon who lacks the basic tact and civility that's necessary to be POTUS.

 

A vote for Johnson goes to waste. It is either Trump or Clinton. And bailing out on both is the same as going in on whoever wins.

And let's not pretend Clinton is even remotely equal to Trump. And let's not pretend Republicans care about honesty and integrity given Reagan, G. W. Bush, and the entire contemporary era of Republican politics.

Trump isn't born from a vacuum. He emerged out of the same party first politics and false equivalence that inspired the anti-Clinton rant.

This election is about sending a message that future Trump's won't be tolerated.

 

No one is trying to hurt Trump's campaign more than Trump himself.

Yes the SPECIFIC INDIVIDUALS who chanted 'pigs in a blanket' were advocating violence.

That is an entirely different to THE PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE OF ONE OF THE TWO MAJOR PARTIES subtly hinting at assination of his opponent.

No, it's not evidence. It's left to interpretation. Some will no doubt interpret it as an attack on Clinton. Unfortunately, that include crazies that are willing to commit violence.

Because it can be interpreted as implied violence toward a presidential candidate, it has larger consequences. That should include all moderate Republican denouncing and withdrawing their support for Trump. It's smart politic after all as Trump is going down in flame.
