Good Lord......not only MJ, but Larry, Magic, Isiah, Hakeem....no matter what Rocket fans may believe....get these types of calls. I disagree with the whole notion that a certain player can get away with certain things, but that's the NBA. It's not going to change any time soon. I do wish the league hire one extra ref for each game, but a lot of the blame has to go to what the NBA has passed as defense for the past several years. You know, things like the FLOP. In such a fast paced game, it's hard to cover all angles and seperate the flop, to a person actually getting knocked down. Especially when SO MANY players have become so good. I will give the refs that excuse. The refs aren't perfect, but a lot of the blame goes to the NBA and it's players.
MJ never travel. if you want to see a travel call, watch college basketball. there's no travel in the nba.
Dude, in Jordan's prime, defenders could not be in the same zip code while guarding him because the refs were protecting him. How do you think he won all of his championships? Oh, one last thing. Check the record books. Check to see how many times the guy fouled out of a game. He gets alot of respect for his defense, as he should. But having unlimited fouls to play with makes defense alot easier.
