That's why we need an enforcer.

Hey, kidrock8, just curious, are you always going to side with the other team or is this just a phase you are going through like puberty?

Why couldn't we have Cato do the similar thing on MJ or Stack or
    the whole Wizard team?
Sometimes, IMO, you have to be heavy weight agianst
heavy weight. Otherwise you be in disadvantage.

Honestly. I've asked the guy numerous times why he is a Rockets fan, but the guy just refuses to answer.

    WALTER.

Cato was injured. His right hand finger or something.

    YEAH........that's usually his job.

I love it when Cato whacks dumb people going into his house.

Not like Yao. All nice. :( And never complains to refs.......:(

MJ IS THE BEST EVER. what do you expect? they did call ONE foul on him. :)

of course if anyone had retaliated against oakley they would've gotten a T and then everyone on the board would call them stupid. but how oak didn't get at least one flagrant out of all that i don't know. the goaltending call was such crap, the ball never got above the rim, jordan was practically gonna airball a 3 footer, i couldn't believe it when it left his hand. of course ming did block it out so they would've gotten it back with a little time on the clock. and as far as leaving laettner and oakley, they were drilling 20 footers all night on us, that would be a good reason not to leave them. stackhouse's ridiculous shot on mobley sealed it though. i mean wtf, mobley was as all over him as you can get and he still hit an off balance 20 footer. mobley was huge for us (as was mo tay) and my favorite play by him may have been the last one b/c he busted his ass down the court and was right there when steve screwed up and at least got a shot off. he's perfect for this team i think when he's on. and right now he's doing well.

i would murder everyone associated with the rockets if they even entertained the idea of bringing malone on the team. it would be sacrilege.

How many games have this Rox team lost at the crunch? Malone knows how to win when it matters. Karl Malone is Cap'n Crunch.

I can't believe we are blaming the refs... I thought they did a decent job. I watch so many games and find the reffing pretty consistent throughout the league, its hard to believe that the rox got robbed in this game. That goaltending was in the air for quite awhile before yao touched it...hell, it wouldn't have gone in if Yao just let it go and get his 11th rebound. Hawk looked like he flopped a couple times...they aren't going to call that crap close to the end of a game, especially on MJ.

Cmon guys, the rox played like crap for 3 quarters and tried to pull it out in the end like a bad student studying for a final the night before the test...they failed.

The calls Jordan, David Robinson and Malone receive from the refs has always bothered me.

I might be biased, however, if Hakeem got half the calls his so called peers got, he would have had an additional 2-4 points to his career scoring average.

The refs didn't like Dream because he would call them out in the media. Jordan and the Mailman gets the calls because they play politics with the refs and in some ways intimidate them.

did anyone else see the travel on MJ at the beginning of OT?

his Airness got the ball on the right side of the lane, just below the free throw line, and starts backing down his man (can't remmebr if it was Hawk, Cat, or who). then he picks up his dribble, makes a move to the middle of the paint, and fakes his fadeaway jumper, but instead goes up and under his man, bumps off yao ming, 2 and a foul. the only thing i had a problem with was his fake/up-and-under. he str8 up travelled, giving him a HUGE advantage. i can see them not calling the travel if it's inconsequential, but this was BIG. he picked up his pivot foot, creating critical space between him and his defender, then, now with a clear path, took another step to the basket.

i didn't see it live, but on the overhead replay it was FLAGRANT, BLATANT, BRAZEN, RIDICULOUS. don't tell me the refs didn't see it. they didn't have the cocoNUTZ to call travelling on His Eminence, the Almighty, the Lord on High MJ. how dare they?

of course MJ will get calls... thats why hawk should not have tried to draw the foul... he should have just bucked up and stood his ground, but even at 27 or 28 even he is a rookiethey will learn
