Defensively what Dwight does for the Magic is really amazing. The second best defender is JJ Reddick now...
I would say they have improved over the last few games , beating the Spurs and Celtics in consecutive games . They are on a 4 game winning streak currently .
Care to wager on it? YaoZow is going to owe $20 tip jar + a signature, so I could just forward that on if I lose. Assuming he's not a dirty welsh, that is.
Legit contenders: West -- LA, Dallas, SA. East -- Orlando, Boston, Miami. If Boston's healthy, they'll be in the Finals. If not, Miami takes the crown. LA's been floundering recently, but they're the clear cut favorite out West as 2-time defending champs. LA v. Miami would be epic, but I'd put my money on LA v. Boston.
What would be the point? First round pick from Orlando is practically worth less than a 2nd rounder, its bound to be in the upper 20's so you end up with 2nd rounder talent signed to first round money. Orlando's over the cap just as we are so a straight up swap wouldn't work. A trade I would be very interested in exploring would be a Lee+Battier for Jason Richardson type of deal. As long as KM is on the team Lee won't get significant time anyway, might as well flip them for a better overall player. A combination of J-rich and Kmart would probably be enough to vault us to no 1 offense in the league.
Couldn't watch the game , but i saw the box score looking good for the Magic ....but im sure they will make a trade for a backup Center down the line.
so what your saying is defense + defense for Offense ??? Why? That may put us top 3 offense, but last in defense.
Magic get Hedo back and once again he is their best playmaker. They should have never let him go. He is a better playmaker and has more heart than either Rashard or Carter.
