The Spurs are the defending NBA champs and we couldnt even face them in round 2 because we couldnt even handle our business vs the Blazers
The San Antonio team who have the best coach in the NBA? News flash... We have NOTHING that comes to 1/8 of the skill Popovich has. The San Antonio team that's core had won numerous championships? New flash... We have NOTHING that comes to 1/8 of that. So the answer you were looking for of 'no, the Spurs didn't trip' - can't relate to us at all because the Spurs are much, much better than us in the grand scheme of things.
You mean a team that dominated the past decade and won 5 championships in that time didn't overreact? These situations are not even close to similar...
we will be ok brothers. I'm ok being the 3 seed, let GS play OKC in the first round. It's about matchups. I believe in the rockets. Dwight will be ok come playoffs and teams won't be able to triple team harden.
McHale made him look like a fool in the 3rd game last year when he stepped in front of Duncan on an inbound pass. And pop almost pooped a brick and cried on the sidelines... If you actually watched the games.
San Antonio wasn't playing at full strength for half of those games, and are notorious for experimenting with different lineups and situations during the regular season to prepare for the postseason. We were "trying" and I can't put enough quotes around trying, to win this game tonight, and basically at full strength. (minus T-Jones, but he's been out all season and is kind of an X Factor at this point honestly) Rockets got stomped tonight by a far superior team, plain and simple.
San Antonio fans did trip but hey also had the luxury of being first place, we are in danger of falling to sixth. We have allowed Dallas to pass us and the Clippers to catch up.
