    Pete Mickael had a remote chance to make the team but not playing in the game probably doesn't bode very well. On another note.......Everybody has to understand that cc.net has just blown up. It is as if everybody is a Rox fan now since we won the draft lottery. What used to just be a couple of hundred people has turned into thousands, most of them bickering over Ming, Steve, Cat, MoT, KT, Rice, and the Mooch. I really dont give a damn about the increase in posters, but the bickering seems to have driven away many people who made cc.net a great place for inside info on the Rox.

    You are right UT, there's enough hating going around here. Senior posters should be smart enough to not engage in such crap talks. It's important that senior posters maintain the quality of this forum and if you can't do it, then step aside.

    What I'd like for you to do is find where I have mentioned post count. Please, take your time and read every post. What, can't find it? Thats because I don't do it. "Newbies" refers to this huge influx of new posters we have gotten this off-season and yes, "most" of them have been jackasses. They have come in here and ignored rules (like no multiple posts), and when told that they are indeed breaking a rule, do it again and again. Eventually I get sick and damn tired of it, like now. The fact that you want to defend this type of behavior makes me wonder if you care at all about the quality of discussion here.

    PS. Attacking a dead drug addict is really bad karma man. Groove on.

    Htown is no "hero", far from it. "Jackass" does have a nice ring, "nazi" too.

    But then what do I know, I'm a "newbie".

    As for Mickeal, I would much rather have him subbing than Torres. That's my opinion. I've seen him play when he was with Cinn. and I admired his game back then.

    As for the bickering, I think everyone has put in their 2 cents. Please don't drag this on and on.......

    I am not defending theis guy's posting habits. Like I said there are ways to inform the guy about what he's doing wrong. If he doesn't listen, tell the mods & they'll take care of it. No need to jump on & make moronic statements like "most newbies are jackasses." I take it then that most of the "oldies" were/are jackasses b/c at one point they were newbies...

    Also, look at what you said here: "Eventually I get sick and damn tired of it, like now." Well then, do what 99.9% of the people on this board do, CLICK ON ANOTHER THREAD. Why do you insist on sticking your nose into it? Do you own or run the site? No, you don't. Yet you act like a ritalin-addled child who must excercise dominion over everything. Either be helpful to wayward posters or ignore them & move on...

    Now, on a basketball point, isn't Sonny Watson the guy Rudy is taking a look at as a favor to Kermit Washington?

    I am indeed used to laughs...though I don't really know what the hell that means or proves. Did you have a point?

    Imagine there's no post counts
    And no joined dates too;

    Imagine there's no member #s,
    And no flaming too;

    Yu hoo hoo hoo. . .

    You may say I'm a Dream-er, (pun intended)
    But I'm not the only one. . .

    The whole flap is over this one simple post, right? Geez. Maybe I'm just too mellow, but I thought A-Train was mostly kidding around. I thought it was worth a chuckle, all in good fun, that sort of thing.

    If you read this BBS a while, you see a lot of joking around. Unless of course you talk about something serious like a guy jumping over the Great Wall of China on a little bicycle and of course expiring upon landing because there was no ramp or cushion to land on. That kind of stuff is serious ****. But otherwise, there're a lot of nods and winks and laughs all 'round. I don't think A-Train is the one that needs to chill. Just my 2 cents.

    No B-Bob, this guy started three threads this morning....all asking this question. A mod locked and deleted the other two and told him if he started another thread today he would be banned. If it was just this thread none of us would give a rats ass.

    I was looking to see if Mikeal did in fact get waived. Instead I'm greeted by other members calling people jackasses. That's what I was doing. I also asked a question about Sonny Watson.

    WTF are you doing other than strangely declaring your support of A-Train?

    RocketBurrito,

    Yes, I believe I read that Sonny Watson is on the team as a favor to Kermit.

    I hope Mikeal at least gets some playin time so we can see if he truly has some game as others have said.

    Now, I am gonna say this as nicely as I can
    You see A-train gettin irritable cause this place used to have alot more people that cared about quality and semi-reasonable discussion. Since the draft we have had tons of new people here, and this is not always a bad thing. Some of my fav posters lately havent been here a very long time at all...BUT

    Lately, there have been more and more people comin in and jumpin in with both feet without even lookin to see what they were jumping into..There are unwritten and written guidelines and expected ways of behavior that alot of the Sr members have gotten used to seeing and they probably wish it to continue that way. If the people that go for ESPN board style posting would just listen and try to accept it when someone tries to point out their mistakes, there wouldnt be any trouble.. BuBS started multiple threads sayin the same thing, when she was called on it nicely, she jumped down said posters throat about us being against women...now thats hardly the way to respond when someone was just trying to help..
    In any community, it's always a good idea to lurk and listen to the tone and demeanor of the community before you jump in and make an ass out of yourself (this part is not directed to anyone in particular).

    Just my .02

    Flame away, I just know you want to. :p
