He was pouting to make a point? I didn't know that. And its interesting how sample size no longer matters when it is the playoffs.
Ummm its the playoffs, every game counts so much, why wouldn't each game be taken seriously and be taken as an indicator of things?
Lebron hasn't complained about his teammates. Is it conceivable he's good enough to take the Cavs to the playoffs, but not good enough to take them to a championship trophy?
http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201004200LAL.html http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201004270LAL.html 20/10 games are'nt good games? yeah you're obviously bias so there is no pint in continuing with this conversation,.
I just gave you something that dismissed this whole notion that Gasol can be a big time leader...he came up with 0 wins in the playoffs in 3 trips with Memphis. 0 0-12 was his record before he came to the Lakers And why are the Lakers the biggest draw in the league? everywhere they go on the road there are sellouts
When you have your building filled, the home team obviously gets pumped up along with the fact that you're playing the Lakers. Like I said its just like playing the Yanks, I'm a Mariners fan and I can tell you theres an extra something the players bring when you're playing the best franchise or team in the league
you'd still be wrong. 12/6 in 23 minutes or 8/6 in 21 are not good games? i'd call those solid games.
Did you watch the games? lol. Odom looked clueless for most of the game. Those are Ok numbers while going up against playoff n00bs like Nick Collison, Kristic and Ibaka
this has nothing to do with the conversation. now you are running back and forth to different excuses. what does being one of he "biggest draws" have to do with paul being capable of leading that team to the playoffs. what does paus playoff record having to do with him getting TO the playoffs? the topic wa sit's no so fa fetched that pau could lead that TO the playoffs. what he does when he gets there is u in the air.
Great players can have a really bad outing in the playoffs. And when their teammates don't step up in those circumstances, those bad outings are magnified. That's not to say it shouldn't be taken seriously. It should. But "things happen" in the playoffs, just like in the regular season. Basketball is chaotic, and it doesn't stop being so just because the games are more important.
they averaged the same amount of points but odom out rebounded and out assisted ibaka with ibaka averaging more blocks. i dont even see how you can compare them seeing how odom got way less minutes than he gt during the regular season in that series since phil had artest on durrant a lot and gave bynum more minutes because the size of gasol/bynum gave the thunder trouble.
Right, he only needs to flirt with NYC left and right and the organization will show all hands. How many 2 time MVP has no rings? It's a shame to be on that list.
Ok now you're just blabbering nonsense here. Odom played 26 minutes a game this series (2 games were blowouts) and he averaged 31 mins a game in the regular season thats not "way less than he got in the regular season" as he said. And besides he started the games earlier in the year with Pau out 17 games and then Bynum out later in the year. I don't know why you're bringing up Durant/Artest here...they both play small forward while Lamar 99% of the time plays PF or C but PF usually. Anyways I don't want to go off tangent from the topic of this thread which is about Lebron and the possibility that he might've quit last night.
Well this is how these conversations always go. Ignore everything I (and you) said and change the topic. It's rampant. I don't know why I keep doing it. I guess I find it entertaining to steer people down their own line of logic only to find out how biased they were. And then they resort to responses like this.
4 out of 11 of them did not win a championship by their 2nd MVP year. Bob Pettit (1959) Bill Russell (1961) Wilt Chamberlain (1966) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1972) Moses Malone (1982) Larry Bird (1985) Magic Johnson (1989) Michael Jordan (1991) Karl Malone (1998) Tim Duncan (2003) Steve Nash (2006)
WTF. http://www.82games.com/0910/0910LAL2.HTM odom has never seen the 5 spot this year. now your just making all kinds of stuff up. but whatever. continue with the topic at hand.
