if cavs fans really feel that way then he deserves to go. he made Cleveland relevant again. they were trash before him, a pretty good team with him, and they'll be a trash team without him. doesn't dismiss what happened tonight (poor performance by lebron) but you would think the fans would be a little bit more forgiving. this aint la or boston. teams with rich history but the ****ing cavaliers lol do they really want to go back to this? http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/CLE/2003.html
Its funny. It just seems like the hype has reached its peak. Lebrons simply not as good as his fans make him out to be. No matter how many slow motion dunks ESPN highlights u watch, Lebron is more style than substance. How can he be the next Jordan when he's not even the next Kobe.lol
I wouldn't say he is not as good as the hype cause he pretty much can do ANYTHING he wants on the court and no one in the league have any chance of stopping him. Once he getting into the lane, either he is fouled or he scores, thats just how good he is. Regarding tonight, his elbow is definetely not an issue, especially after what happened in game 3. I would not say he gave up on his team. It seems to me that his head was not in the game. In the sense that he felt they would definetly win it and was not trying early on. cause the cavs were up big early. Then when the celtics made the push in the second quarter, lebron could not suddenly turn back to the attack mode.
Lebron didn't quit tonight! He didn't even show up to quit that was a patheticpreformance tonight it is over.
The funny thing about LeBron Raymone James is that he's still worth the Max even though he did quit on his team.
Kobe gave up on a 40 wins team that needed him to score 40 to have a chance to win. LBJ gave up on a 60 wins team that's the best team in the regular season for 2 consecutive years. I don't think it's even comparable.
i think lebron's jumper wasnt falling and he kind of quit after that. he was going to the rim in the 2nd quarter i think, getting to the free throw line repeatedly. 2nd half he just sort of settled for outside shots n missing badly. even when he wasnt shooting, he passed the ball away quickly (some being turnovers) and didnt want to make any plays happen. some time in the 2nd half he took off his elbow sleeve. i dont know if theres something wrong with his elbow, or hes trying to blame it on his elbow. yahoo's game recap said something like 'lebron refused to blame his elbow for his poor shooting.. etc', but that sounds even more pr control than actually blaming on an injury. i really hope he doesnt go to NY cos of this. cleveland fans better not ruin our NY draft picks
Heres an interesting bit. This is a post from Clevelands "Doc Rocket" "Is Boston just the better team ? That's the ttitle of this thread ? The answer is a very simple NO. Not even close. We've got the superior team. I would love to say alot right now, but I simply can't and won't. Other than to say what is going on is shameful ... never in my life did I think I'd be seeing happen what I feel in my gut is happening right now. But, I will not pull ANY PUNCHES when the time is appropriate."
Wow how is this even comparable to what Kobe did? Kobe wasnt on his home floor, he was down 20+ for most of the game, he was surrounded by butterknives (teammates who were out partying each night after they went up 3-1 ), his team wasn't the best in the league, goodness lol Lebron played TERRIFIC defense on Rondo in the 1st quarter and it probably taxed him a little bit so he couldn't get his shot going early but I don't know WTF happened instead of being the aggressive driver he is, just started settling and passing the ball around.
If you have teammates like Chris Mihm, Smush Parker, Luke Walton, Sasha Vujacic, and Javaris Crittenton, you know you have a poor supporting cast.
yea and Mihm was the starter at C for most of that team, he didn't even play in the last 15 games of the season and the playoffs
Hmmm, well if LBJ really has indeed decided to quit I think its time to drop bosh like a hot potato and start tweet bombing LBJ. We're the only team where he can earn the most amount of money, can offer the Cavs a lot of attractive assets for him and still has enough pieces to be a contender with him on the team.
actually, i think Bron is trying make a point... to remind cle and the rest of the nba of how the cavalier's would do if lebron wasn't lebron. he's good enough to win the next two by himself if he's focused.
Kobe gave up on his team in an elimination game. At least Lebron has a chance to redeem himself this year still.
If he is truly unstoppable and can do whatever he wishes then WHY DOESN'T HE DO IT?? All the other great players show up when it count, what's Lebrons excuse this year?
