I believe this is true, however I do believe that McGrady has more diehard fans than Harden Let's not forget that Tmac was the master at drawing attention to himself
Back in the day when fans weren't woke. ESPN would make this narratives against Tmac and people gobbled it up, now people are smart enough to smell the bullshit. Kobe telling Tmac not to practice in the offseason just to get an edge on him. It be ya own people.
Which is what Kobe and MJ are/were. So, yes, I'm positive Kobe knew the score...because he'd definitely be keeping it. Not sure TMac is wired that way. MJ was so bad that his teammates in NC would refuse to play pool with him. Because if you beat him, he'd want to keep playing all night until he beat you. That was just pool...ie, something to do to relax. Interesting. I might need to watch the clip now. I know when I saw them talking about it, and they were asked if they could play in the NBA today, TMac gave a hard no, Kobe said yes, but he had no desire to do so.
