They waived 3 players to get down to 13 and Maloney/Robinson weren't among the 3? Chilcutt did get the axe, but it looks like the new look Hawks are the old look Rockets with Matt Maloney, Larry Robinson, and Pig Miller making the cut. Great! Here's hoping Matt plays great and earns himself a long-term contract with the Hawks, giving the Rox some cap relief. I'm glad Pig made the cut. Too bad for Chilly Pete, but big, slow, 3point shooting white guys can always find jobs in the NBA. Too bad we've already got our quota! ------------------
Miller, Robinson, and Maloney haven't quite made the cut yet -- the Hawks have one player injured (Dion Glover) and another with an ill family member (Roshown MacLeod), so really they have 15 players, and those three are the only ones without guaranteed contracts. ------------------
