i know one game doesn't amount to much but after watching the ncaa championship game, i wasn't high on the guy either. thought the midget pg from louisville totally outplayed him. he was a chucker, ball hog, and didn't do anything to get his teammates involved as a pg, especially coming down the stretch. i thought he played like bad kobe. but then again, that was the only time i've seen him play. he's probably legit if morey tried trading up to get him. would've been a good move by morey - free up a lot of cap space, get a potential starting pg on rookie salary, and might even have enough money left over to sign for another star if you trade asik away. would've work well for utah too 'cause lin would've made millsap/jefferson look good, but was probably too pricey for their taste.
He grades out as a mere rotation player according to the wages of wins model for translating ncaa stats to the nba. http://wagesofwins.com/2013/06/25/2013-nba-draft-extravaganza-rev-2-a-pretty-good-draft/
Could another juan dixon...we'll see, but if tidbits like this keep coming out, itll be hard to believe Morey wasnt looking to trade Lin. Where is Dixon, by the way?
Juan Dixon trying to make a comeback at 34 saying "“Everybody wants to know what Juan Dixon is doing. Juan Dixon is learning how to become a man.”
Didn't Trey Burke shoot like 23% when guarded by a player over 6ft in college past season? He's all hype and feasted on weak competition in college.
Isiah Canaan > Trey Burke Cannan will be the real deal of this draft and you guys will see. Just watch.
Trey wasn't setting the world on fire all year. Looked average in the few of the regular season games and he got hot during the tournament. Isaiah could end up being just as good as if not better than the point guards drafted before him and he is probably the most NBA ready of the bunch. Chris Paul said he wasted a year going back to college because he was NBA ready after his Jr year (CP3 held a camp for elite college point guards last year that Isaiah attended). And plus the kid has a 40 inch vertical. He's explosive. Looks like Nate Robinson when he attacks the basket and looks like Curry when he shoots. Morey may have got himself a steal with that 2nd round pick. But Isaiah was considered 1st round talent.
I can't see why would try to trade up to get him if we're trying to win right now. Every move we do right now is to get us closer to a championship now, not down the line.
Actually, i wouldn't mind talking about something else other than Dwight at least for one night. Nothing is going to happen tonight. At least i don't think so.
