Pound for pound, AI is the best scorer of all-time. Most, if not all players, have trouble guarding him let alone in an all-star game where defense is lacking.
Steve was outstanding during the all star game! He was great at directing the all-stars and had as good of a game as anyone on the west outside of KG. He had few mental lapses, hit a very high percentage of his shots and finished with 20 points (9of 12 shooting), 9 assists and only 3 turnovers in 32 minutes of play! Last night I saw the Steve Francis that I would like to see on a consistent basis in Houston. Nothing was forced and over all I thought Steve had a better game than AI. AI’s stats 35 points (13 of 23 shooting), 7 assists, 6 turnovers and 5 steals in 41 minutes of play. A lot of the time I thought AI was out of control forced some situations.
Time to get back to the real season. It was just an alstargame. Its one game, and it is now over. Back to the real deal, Playoffs.
Okay. Steve Francis was not abused. ESPN CRAP. They didn't look at his statistics. Iverson played forever. And you're right. WHY WOULD RICK ADELMAN KEEP FRANCIS DURING THE IMPORTANT TIMES OF THE GAME...including the entire overtime? OVER Steve Nash and Gary Payton and Stephon Marbury. He must think he is good. They were a little mad at him when he decided to not pass to Kobe or Shaq and try to score himself and get blocked. But anyways, Francis can pass. Hopefully he has gotten it. RIDICULOUS! Abused?!? Always excuses.........Rick Adelman is very fair and just compared to Isaiah Thomas. Did you see how long Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce and Big Z played? NOT VERY LONG.
I think it is the Rockets players who make the Rockets look bad. Moreover, why would ESPN or TNT want to make the Rockets look bad? Rockets will be on national TV as much as anyone else.
WTF? Everyone cheered for the Rockets players. They seemed to do good when they were playing. The West was winning when they were in. We seemed to look bad? I'm pretty sure next year they will both be All Stars again. WE LOOK BAD?!? ESPN said a lot of good stuff about the Rockets. They represented well.
