    Lowry
    Lin
    Parsons
    Gasol
    Nene

This team could go deeply into the playoff. But we'll still need one more major star player to win it all.

Gasol is a minor upgrade from Scola. Nene may be a better offensive player than Dalembert, but I prefer Dalembert over Nene to be my defensive center any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

then lin would be behind flynn or maybe we would have signed mike james to back up our starting pg just like knicks almost had done. listen, if rox didn't cut him, linsanity won't have occurred. lin would be in rox d-league's team to help them win games but no one would pay any attention on him.

There would be no Linsanity if he played in Houston. He'd be an extremely talented back up at the Point that makes Kyle Lowry expendable.

noticed a bit of people assuming Lin still would have been kept. Thats false. We have no idea what would had happened if that trade went thru.

Lin is playing well because quite frankly there isnt many others in NY who can. Here it is different.

And honestly, Lin was a un guaranteed contract. Thee reason for droppign him, whats to stop that process again? Flynn behind Lowry is good enough rotation. Incase of injury, you got Lee who can play back up minutes at the 1.

this idea that the Rockets would not have discovered Lin's talent if we had a roster spot for him is dubious.

Remember, we had a 9 day training camp to make a decision. Imagine if we had an entire summer league to evaluate Lin. We have a very good player personnel department.

If anything, Flynn's poor play would have given Lin minutes regardless. Same way he got minutes in NYK.
