I really hate CNN, so I'm happy to assume the worst. I'm not sure which is the worst -- either he faked being sick so he can have this emerging from the basement moment, or he really was sick and broke quarantine to drive to some empty lot (and I guess argue with a bicyclist?) and then pretended to not have broken quarantine. I suppose the first would be worse, because that's CNN making fake news, even if it is just a puff piece. The second, yeah, breaking quarantine when you're actually sick is not responsible, but of the millions of Americans taking irresponsible risks with this virus, I don't know why I want to focus on this one guy. Pence visited the Mayo Clinic without a mask. I said it was rude and have moved on. I think it's like that.
I guess there's nothing wrong with wondering. But to write an article about it when there's so much else to write about seems quite vindictive. Of course that shouldn't be a surprise considering the narratives many on the right are putting out about the virus, i.e., that it's a hoax, a conspiracy to bring down Trump, that it's totally exaggerated, etc. Personally, I think he's probably quite cocky and arrogant, at the least, but he doesn't let his guests spout complete BS like so many on TV, which makes him more tolerable than most in my book.

And btw, I thought CNN and Cuomo had too much hubris and narcissism to think we cared that much about Cuomo's personal struggles. At no point was any of the coverage of his personal ordeal with the virus helpful news. I thought it was out of touch and stupid. But conspiracy theories based on wishful thinking that comforts your preconceived biases is dumb. Don't fall for that ****. You want to hear someone say that Coumo made it up even if they bring forth zero evidence. And the person who made the claim Tim Pool knows you want to hear it and delivers.
There seems to be a lot of those 'types' that you describe, popular on the YouTube right now. My views are right, so you can guess what algorithm YouTube cues up for me to watch. There's the what folks are calling the IDW which stands for Intellectual Dark Web? I'm assuming they didn't make that names up for themselves but the group includes: Jordan Peterson, Dave Rubin, Ben Shapiro, Sam Harris, Eric Weinstein and possibly a some others who I haven't been exposed to yet. I've watched a little bit on all but Shapiro, who I know is hard right leaning. They all seem like sensible people to me. I've yet to hear anything from this group that sounds like complete bullshit. They like to discuss and debate things they often disagree on and do it in a manner that's respectful. I don't know why they get labeled as Alt Right when all but Shapiro hold liberal views.....Peterson might be the outlier there too. Anyhoo... Vice does some pretty good investigative journalism. I'd be interested in listening to some opposing views if you have some folks you recommend.
I have no idea. I suspect if I were in our Minnesota house and I had COVID, I'd stay in our basement. Do you think he faked it? Do you think his wife and kid faked it?

Do quarantine guidelines suggest you can't go out for a walk or a jog? I thought they said you can do that?
I'm not gonna lie. I don't know. My gut says when I google it, it's gonna say quarantine means stay the ***** at home so you don't infect someone else. But I don't know.
