At a bar, a guy was talking trash and throwing a cup of ice and a bottle at him and it hit some woman apparently. Barkley jad enough and he pushes the guy and he falls backwards into a window and it breaks and he falls through it. That's the story. It's not like he was in a big brawl and throwing people through windows or anything.
I would say this is probably the closest anyone has gotten to punching a ref in a NBA game. I became a fan of Sir Charles in 1996 when he took down Shaq in a fight in Houston. Shaq shoved him under the basket, Barkley then bounces the ball off him, Shaq swings with a left and connects, I think, so Charles grabs him and slams Shaq down to the floor, getting in a right during the melee. Loved how Mobes dove in to support Barkley! For several minutes after the fight the refs conferred about what to do. Shaq clearly started it, but the refs tossed them both, and Rudy goes ballistic, so HE gets tossed! Crazy! I loved every minute of it. What bugs me right now is that I can't remember if we won or lost. I think we won. I don't believe the "hitting a ref" thing.
