yep, more accurately southeast to northwest. it was pretty wierd because I was near downtown. so the lights didn't have any affect. second time i've seen one. pretty cool sight.
I think I may have put a little too much glow fuel in my son's model airplane. You say this "shooting star" was heading south to north?
There were two shooting stars last night. A very long one at 6 and a short one around 8. I will post pics around Monday.
I saw one last week or so, it was a star that kind of dropped out of the sky, so I guess it burnt out and was shooting side to side. But late last night my gf saw one, I missed it. 2 in a week an half span, is that normal... or just luck.
also i live like 3 minutes away from downtown, ive seen shooting stars from here. hard to see regular stars though
stupid thread to bump, but I saw another one last night, its crazy because I don't star gaze. anyway the sky was beautiful last night, really clear, I go out take a cigar break during the game, right at the beginning of second half, look up and see it.
In as non-spiritual way as possible, I believe a shooting star is just one of those pure joy things of life. It doesn't matter who you are, what's going on in your life, etc., you look up and see a shooting star and if just for that brief moment, you feel uplifted and like you've just seen something really cool and you need to tell someone about it. So, stupid thread to bump? Maybe....but completely understandable!
