i recorded it, watched it at like 3 in the morning because i had prom last night. i couldnt even enjoy prom becuase i was so mad about the game
I'm with you man. I may watch highlights when we lose and I missed the game (extremely rare occasion considering I've missed maybe 5 games in the past 5 years) but that's about it. When the TEAM loses, I have no desire whatsoever to revisit the pain of watching the entire game. I'm not a frickin' scout that will be giving tips to the players or coaching staff. No need to analyze the tapes. I am just a fan. I guess I would have to be a [insert player name]-only fan to have any desire to watch losses.
Sometimes, I get in my "analyst" mode and I will rewatch games that we've lost. I rewatched the fourth quarter of a loss to Utah in January, tracked each play, and posted a thread about it. At this stage of the season, I think I understand the strengths/weaknesses of our players and the team collectively pretty well. I just want to sit back and try to enjoy the games as a fan.
Hey, no problem. I apologize again for the "stalker" joke I made a few months ago. I guess I just have a hard time understanding following an individual over the team unless you are a relative or loved one of a player. What I should realize is that every fan is different and reacts differently to things. For example, even a diehard Rockets fan can get frustrated and temporarily give up on the team. That fan may even create a thread entitled something like... oh, I don't know... maybe, "Playoffs? No Way!".
I hear you. The truth is I don't have the pain threshold to watch a loss for a second time. The few times I've watched part of a loss for a second time is when I happened to be up late and they were replaying the game on ESPN or one of the local stations.
been addressed already in previous posts but its kiiiiinda safe to say the Memphis Grizzlies have been followed with increasingly less frequency... The only tough games for me to rewatch are series enders. I'll rewatch a game 1 -3 loss cuz the series is still mostly undecided.
I finished watching it at 5am this morning, had a Rush show to attend. Not that anybody cares, but I'll have it available online later today.
