did anyone noticed cynthia cooper forgot her lines on the halfetime report???

That's just wrong. Wrong! But hilarious. The only time I ever get to see Rockets local broadcasts is the rare occasion when they're on LP, and I've only seen Coop once or twice cuz we usually cycle through the other games--but, wow, my buddy who is this really nice Christian youth minister even cracks on her as being terrible. I mean, she couldn't even beat that Quigley guy from the 1st season of Dream Job.

 

I just played a quick 3 on 3 street game on 2k5 during the halftime.

Apparently it was a wise decision.

 

It was so bad that I had to turn the channel. It was like watching W when Kerry asked him about his Lumber Company! She needed to improve her game offseason. Maybe some acting classes at the local Junior College.

 

Cynthia Cooper is a disgrace to the organization and is a danger to the professional reputation of the entire Rockets marketing staff (not unlike the pajama-jersey gaffe).

What happened to the promise of creating a halftime show that would rival TNT's? What has been delivered? Something with the production quality of an episode of Mr Roger's Neighborhood. And King Friday is having a bad day in the Neighborhood of Make Believe.

 

Could someone please recap what happened during the game on Sunday night??

It pains me to watch halftime...... She just really sucks.... She needs to pick another job, because broadcasting wasnt in the cards.

The fact that she is doing the halftime show AGAIN this year is a testament to how terrible the Rockets PR team is. They just dont have a clue......

Well we've all voiced our opinions. What they need to do is open a poll asking what you think of the Rockets broadcasting team as a whole. Yes it would be better if they could just say "What do you think of our haltime show with Cynthia Cooper" but I don't think they would stoop that low. Just put a poll on Rockets.com and let the fans speak. Everyone knows how we feel, but obviously they don't pay much attention to us, we're only 1% of the total Rockets fans, even though we produce 25% of love toward the Rockets, whether it's through cheering, watching, or buying Rockets items. If they won't listen to the biggest fans, then maybe they'll listen to majority.

Boot Cynthia, and boot Van. Give Bullard the choice to do either (preferably replacing Van) and hire anyone else to do the other position.

I bet the Rockets do a broadcasting overhaul when they get their own sports station. My feeling is Coop is a place-holder for now so they can make news with a new broadcasting team a year from now.

That's just sad when you can just look at someone's face for two seconds and bust out laughing. She really does look like she farted and was suprised no one heard it.

 

I ran into Coop last night, and almost busted out laughing at the 'fart' comment.

She has definitely put on some weight. The trunk officially has some junk.

 

I do not have ESPN, so I am really wanting to know this thing. After the heat game, Bill said that we will come back ...(date I can not recall) for the Chicago game, suggesting that there are no the China games on the channel 51. I also heard from the 610 for the same thing. I need find a place to watch the games.

 

I think KNWS is replaying the game later that evening

 

If this is true, that would be nice.
