Did anyone catch what David Aldridge reported about Alonzo Mourning on TNT

I don't think that team was that bad. They had Pat Riley as the coach and Tim Hardaway who up until the end w/ his knee problems was a stud, PJ Brown who still produces and Jamal Mashburn who was a talent before all his injuries in New Jersey.

Of course though they would be the top seed or top three seeds in the Playoffs they would get punked by Van Gundy's Knicks every year.

 

Technically... the Rockets are perfectly capable of snatching up his contract if they wanted to, being one of the 3 teams with trade exceptions or cap room to do so.

If he was really a difference maker, I have a feeling one of those 3 teams would be willing to do the deal.
