trade francis, came 5 years too late but eventually JVG put the ship back on course also not give Mo Taylor, Kelvin Cato, and Moochie Norris those ridiculous contracts, keep Richard Jefferson instead of trading for Eddie Griffin etc etc I know this is 20/20 hindsight, but Rudy made some bad decisions and none of his coaching magic could do anything to erase those bad decisions. Basically he reaped what he sowed; he put together that middle of the road team and they played true to form.
You: Rudy thought running ISO with the Francis teams was a good idea Me: What should he have done differently? You: Get better players Great analysis.
You: asking a baiting or rhetorical question Me: stating the obvious You: not satisfied with answer Me: sometimes the truth hurts
uh I think JVG genuinely like Tmac. JVG was clueless regarding offense, so Tmac doing everything on offense made life easier for him and allowed him to get players he liked (strickland, wesley etc.). Tmac on the other hand flourished at the trust and lavish praise JVG heaped on him. Of course, that was before all the losing got to them, IMHO things went sour by the 4rth 1st round exit lol.
