    If you're from Houston, you're used to driving 45 minutes to hang out with people.

    Last, one of the main guys who organizes these watch parties just lost his wife very suddenly last weekend. They have 2 small adopted kids and his family is all in the Houston area. He's a freelancer in the TV industry, so his income is not consistent. Please consider helping him out. - thanks guys.

    I'm from Houston. It's a little far for me to drive. Maybe there are some fans in this town, though, if I'm lucky.

    So, serious question because I'm curious:

    The Mavs aren't in the playoffs. Who are Mavs fans going to root for? Yeah, I know, we all hate each other in Texas, yadda, yadda, yadda, but seriously, when you're at the bar cheering for the Rockets, are the Mavs fans around you going to be with you or against you? It might even depend on the circumstances of just this year versus a longstanding rivalry. I'm just interested.

    They typically root for whoever the Rockets are playing.

    They’ll watch and talk non-stop about how great Dirk is. Maybe throw in a few “if Jordan hadn’t retired jabs”.
