The world is a messed up place when average basketball players are making more than NFL stars.

You know....Coach Nickerson...you're not GOD! It's just a football game. Who gave you the power? He stays...he goes. Blah blah...he's going to Cal Poly. Me...I think I'll hang out here. You lied. Together! Remember that? :)

The NBA and the NBA player's association are simply managed better than the NFL

There is a very obvious reason for that, there are 1,696 players in the NFL and only 447 in the NBA. When you have the NBA pulling in 5 billion and the NFL pulling in somewhere around 9, you'll see why NBA players make more.

If split completely and evenly among the players (which can't actually happen for obvious reasons) that would be like 11 mil each for the NBA and only 5 mil each for the NFL.

NFL players could have the exact same deal as NBA players and they'd always make less simply because of math.

Hate the cowgirls but love Dez. Absolute beast. Best WR in football imo.

Dez deserved this contract. I wanted to get him a bit cheaper but I also could care less. We have him locked up at the end of the day. I seriously doubt the money is going to corrupt him. He is so good because he honestly loves football. I expect he will lose some time at some point to injury but he should continue to have a great next 4 or 5 years.

If anyone has the ability to play basketball or baseball they should do that over playing football. I would say baseball and basketball rely more on skill than football. Hitting a baseball is hard.

Longer careers. Much more money. Not getting tackled and concussed by 250+ pound dudes at full speed.

Seems like a pretty easy call.
