Spoiler trinity killed Rita http://eztv.it/tvnews/4877/spoilers-dexter-star-julie-benz-talks-about-the-death-of-rita/
I finally caught up to date on the show, but it sucks. I was used to watching multiple episodes at a time, now I have to wait a week between episodes
you might be right, but i feel like theres no real aftermath from rita's death. shock ending finale, n suddenly his life is simpler.
It's nice that they gots the kids out of the way because they were going to hold Dexter back as far as his lifestyle goes.
For the most part the episode was good, but Astor is annoying me (I know her mom died but still, the way the character is reacting....) and I really couldn't care less about the Maria/Batista relationship But I liked the rest of the episode. Dexter's hunt, Quinn going after Dexter, even the Quinn/Deb relationship is interesting me when I was getting tired of all her relationships (Mostly because of Quinn going after Dexter but yeah).
His life got simpler? If Rita never dies, he gets away with murdering Trinity and he's in Disneyland by now.
rita dying was supposed to make his life complicated cos she took care of the kids. hes supposed to deal with a dead spouse, putting on a show of grief, be a consoling dad to 2 traumatized kids, n still deal with wanting to kill ppl. having the grandparents take the kids off his hands made his life simpler. its like hes back to first season dexter, just kill ppl while having to deal with a suspicious colleague (doakes/quinn).
well, he still got that other kid to take care of... so not quite as simple. and i think the other kids are going to come back at some point after dexter finds a new place to live.
I think I see what you're saying. The way you worded it, I thought you meant that the events of last season's finale made his life simpler, rather than the events of the first 2 episodes of this season.
