i CANT wait for season 5, i hope it isnt the final season though, it just keeps getting better....of course i read about season 4 before i watched it last week and came across the fact that Spoiler lundy and rita get killed couldve done without that before watching it but it was still so good. The only season that was subpar was 3 but even that was pretty good. I hear dexter becomes more human this year and lets his rage take him away from his code...my popcorn is ready lol
I loved Season 4. I'm pretty excited about season 5, but worried how Julia Stiles who will be the guest star will live up John Lithgow who was great in season 4. I'm sure the writing and suspense will make up for it.
Just wondering... How could you be such a big fan of the show, yet not have this date marked on your calendar for months now?
i had 9.26 memorized! ... just forgot today was the 26th. oh and its starting NOW, since im in NY!! woooo!!!
Dangit, I ended up having to stay later than I expected for work. I will watch it somehow though, hopefully tonight, because i really cant wait much longer
My thoughts... Spoiler Overall, I thought it was a very good episode. I was amazed that Dexter annihilated that guy in the fill-up station while totally ignoring "the code". Perhaps that leaves the door open for him to make the same exception with someone like Quinn, who is clearly going to get in his way at some point. After being away so long, I can't say I didn't want a little more "action", but this particular episode had a lot of emotional ground to cover, so it was to be expected. Looks like things really take off next week. Can't wait.
Spoiler I don't think he'll take out Quinn, he's already taken out one cop that was out for him. Would be unrealistic for him to get away with another. (Don't open the spoiler ahead if you don't want me to mention what I think will happen next, I'm 90% sure its a good guess...... Spoiler I think Deb gets pregnant with Quinn's kid, why would they show them getting busy at that scene unless they wanted to give it significance......Dex taking out Quinn then would really screw with his character .
Really good season opener, but it seems a little unclear as to the direction of the season. Is it Dexter trying to avoid investigation or a "who killed Rita?" mystery. One thing I noticed was Masuka's estimation of when Rita died. I heard him say something like 8 to 12 hours before Dex called it in, which makes it even more unlikely that Trinity killed her.
Why's that? If you listened to LaGuerta and Batista, Dexter MAY have an alibi... was he not the witness at their "wedding".
