Kind of disappointed. Dexter is the luckiest man in the world. What the hell is the next season going to be about?
Damn...this season wasn't that terrible Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter file for divorce... Apparently it's been going on for a while, possibly before they finished filming. I wonder if it gave Dexter some real "material" to use during the scene where Lumen left.
According to miamiherald.com it could have been because of the Lumen relationship on set. F'in Lumen. I hate her even more now.
I read the article, it's a baseless theory. They did say that the cancer put a strain on the relationship and that she would complain about him to other cast members.
Luman... what a w****. Used Dexter and dropped him when she was done with him. Looks like Jordan Chase knew what he was doing. Overall the ending was a let down compared to the finale of last season. It would have been more interesting to see Deb find out about Dexter, but that would have completely changed the storyline dynamic in the show which it appears the writers are scared of.
'Dexter' season 6 plot details revealed http://www.examiner.com/tv-in-cleveland/dexter-season-6-plot-details-revealed Can't wait. Hopefully someone kills Quinn.
I'm happy with the direction they're going in. Show was starting to be oversaturated with guest stars.
no way they'll pull out the Deb finding out twist unless a.) the show is doing really poorly or b.) it's the last season.
Not sure I like this, need a continuous story line for suspense from one episode to the next. This is also part of what makes it a more engaging or "realistic" police drama than all the Kevin McHale procedurals (head-fake and a twist).
After how awesome Lithgow was in Season 4, I don't think they'll ever find a good enough villain for the show again. But I will have to say that with Julia Stiles gone, season 6 is already better than season 5.
Some new season 6 details. http://www.tvline.com/2011/05/dexter-colin-hanks-spoilers/ I guess there are some MINOR spoilers.
Ugh, I hope not. I haven't read the third book (only the first two), but I hate that concept in general and from everything I've heard, the books jump the shark once they introduce that. I don't want anything supernatural getting into this show.
