I don't really give a damn about how you feel about people with imperfect "jawlines" or whether “ugly mofos” should be making out on the tele , you are open to your opinion, its a message board....I just thought about something personal at that moment I read your post, I usually try not to respond to immature posts, let my “sensitivity” get to me. BTW how can this ever be debate and discussion material? ....other than the name calling
Didn't expect the twist at the end; but I think since the Deb/Lundy shooter's lower height was confirmed and those tourist killers were eliminated as suspects, most viewers have been waiting to tie it back to this person. Lithgow's really bringin' it. Two career-making performances from middling actors, John and Jimmy Smits, over the last two years. This and Big Love coming back in two months is almost enough to make me forget about Dollhouse being canceled and Curbed presumably being over.
That might not be possible logistically after his meltdown this last episode. And, morally, he might just let him go to offset his mistake with the fashion photographer.
How many times did Debra say the F word in this episode? I usually count but fell asleep... others have been picking up the slack. IIRC, there were 8 F-bombs in the previous episode.
Wow. This just keeps getting better and better. Spoiler The scene where Dexter pulls Arthur into the kitchen with the belt around his neck was friggin awesome. And that ending was really unexpected. I can't believe the reporter was the one who killed Lundy and shot Deb. I really can't wait for next week's episode.
That scene you're referring to... Spoiler really got my blood pumping. It's the kind of scene that I've felt has been missing this season, where Dexter gets truly angry and can't mask it anymore. The twist at the end was spectacular...my eyes were wide for probably a whole minute after the show ended as I sat there asking myself, "did that really just happen?". Next week should be great.
Yeah ever since Masuka said that the shooter was not 6+ft...I knew it had to be her, but I didn't know she was related to Trinity... Dexter>every other show on TV
Spoiler So now I'm wondering if Trinity had another family with a daughter and a son and killed everyone but the daughter. Now he's about to do that to his current family. In this scenario killing the son is like killing himself. They mentioned in the previews finding a "fourth victim". I think they'll also find in his pattern that he's also been killing a boy, who represents himself.
The best line in the entire episode was still Astor to Masuka: "Are you the one my Mom told me not to talk to?"
I feel like almost the entire season has been sub-par, but this last episode may save the season for me. They need to keep up the intensity and momentum.
Season 4 has been awesome, BUT... Can Batista and LaGuerta **** off? Too much relationship crap ruining the show.
I think it's better than every other crime show; because the drawn out season-long timeline for solving cases, moral ambiguities and issues/insecurities of female officers seem more realistic than most broadcast network crime shows. But as far as best shows, I still put Mad Men, Big Love and even House in the first tier.
it makes sense with the mother, young girl, and bludgeoning victim. his wife, young daughter, and son. but seems a little risky and too close to home. im thinking he gets away with all 3 and then kills himself. he was the greatest serial killer and not even dexter could get him on his own terms. he could also do away with dexters family which would free dex up again but seems like the series is winding down
I still think Rita is necessary for balance. She provides Dexter with new problems he can't resolve with his particular set of skills; she also presents a challenge for him to be a better father than his own (birth and adopted), and she makes him a sympathetic figure. I think his character would be impossible to stomach for very long if you didn't think there were some halfway decent people who needed him around.
The Neighbor getting Frisky may have to be dealt with too. Which will be interesting to see how Dexter deals with him. Like how he dealt with the Pedophile that was talking to the little girl Rocket River
