That Roy shot was not as close as this one: the ball left Harris' hand with about 1/24 second left on the clock...it was literally one frame of the camera. Roy had 0.8 second to get up that shot against the Rockets, but when the ball left his hand there was still about 0.2 seconds on the clock.
Even when Violet gets the calls wrong (and some of them are blatant), she makes them with such conviction that Jesus himself would think twice about walking on water. She sucks.. She stands out not because she is a woman but because she sucks. A whole lot of tools stand out to me, like Bennet, Washington, Nunez, Bevetta (he has gone senile) but none of them measure to Violet.
i was to and i remember thinking (seriously not lying) that after whats his name from philly missed that first free throw that he would make the next to go up by one. and the thought went through my head that harris is gonna hit a 3 to win it. came true pretty weird.
I still think this is one of the worst trades in NBA history. If you factor in performance, age, ceiling, and contract its just awful. 39 points for Harris and the game winner Geez.
No, it didn't. Roy caught the ball and released it in 23 frames (.7666 seconds). In other words, if the time had started exactly when it should have, Roy still would have gotten the shot off legitimately in less than .8 seconds. So the clock starting late is a moot point.
